Technically not suppossed to be riding up there and did not let her but she would sneak a sit up on the back seat ... luckily was not doing when the police boat was driving by :)

What a beautiful day we were blessed with (after needing to cancel at least 3 other times this summer due to lousy weather) to go boating with my dad and his friend, Jerri. She has the cutest lake cottage and most of you gals visiting would be in awe of the delicious decorating she does – since it was my first visit to her house did not feel I should photo all of the decorating treasures she has in her house… but another day and another blog post.

The purpose today was to take us out on her pontoon boat on the chain of lakes, in Northern Il. The day was crisp but the sun was shining and since it was a Monday hardly any other boat traffic encountered, so the lakes were very calm. The kids had a blast and if I am remembering correctly really their first time out in a boat other than a boat taxi in downtown Chicago a couple of years back.

Thanks Dad and Jerri for a wonderful day…

  1. Thank you for stopping by with such great ideas for displaying plates. Hopefully I won’t end up with a Snowman during Easter…lol.

Looks like you all had a great day! How fun!

    Thanks for sharing.
